During the first quarter of 2022, the top five city building games on the iOS platform in Europe exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance of these popular apps.

SimCity BuildIt maintained a steady revenue stream, starting the quarter with around $129K and seeing fluctuations that resulted in a peak of approximately $114K in early March. Weekly downloads started at 35.2K but saw a dip to around 22.9K by the end of February, with a notable increase to 47K mid-March. Active users fluctuated slightly, peaking at 330K in mid-March before dropping to 276.6K by the end of the quarter.

The Simpsons™: Tapped Out experienced varying revenue, starting at $65.7K and ending the quarter at $53.2K. Downloads began at 23.2K, experiencing a gradual decline to around 10.7K by the end of March, with a small increase again towards the end. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, hovering around 270K to 280K throughout the quarter.
